Technical Specification of SMC manhole cover:

Materials: SMC(Sheet Moulding Compound)a fibre-reinforced material. Which consists primarily of thermoset resin, unsaturated and continuous non-alkali glass fibres and calcium, poly-styrene as fillers. Which is to save other non-renewable resources.

Feature:
1. Non-recycle value for anti-theft.
2. Acid, Alkali and Chemical corrosion, Impact resistant, and Anti-rust, weather-ability, insulating, fire-retardand, durable (30years), Locking option. Anti-abrasion: Fibreglass content above 28%, when demage, no holistic hole, avoid sudden accident. Use the superfine calcium carbonate, good density.
3. Excellent anti-pressure capability: No hole on the surface and no damage of the unlock hole. Uses the new raw material, the quality is stable.
4. Weight: Just 1/3 of the cast iron one, and 1/2 of the BMC with steel one. Convenient for transport, security check, install, open and rush-repair to reduce work intensity.

The cover should not be sprayed on surface but the color must be homogeneous in mixing while casting. Unique multi-directional slip resistant tread pattern.
